Mining
Extraction without exploitation. We partner with Africa’s artisanal miners to bring gold to the surface safely, fairly, and with full accountability to the land and communities we work within.

Partnering, Not Displacing
Africa Gold does not operate large open-pit mines that displace communities. Instead, we partner with existing artisanal and small-scale miners — providing capital, equipment, training, and market access in exchange for exclusive offtake agreements and adherence to our ethical standards.
This model keeps wealth in local hands, preserves traditional mining knowledge, and allows us to scale responsibly across six nations without the environmental footprint of conventional large-scale mining.
Safety First
Zero-harm is our non-negotiable standard. Every site operates under a comprehensive health and safety management system aligned with ICMM principles.
Miner Partnership
We work directly with 2,400+ artisanal and small-scale miners, providing training, equipment, and above-market pay rates rather than displacing them.
Conflict-Free Protocol
Every mine site is GPS-tagged and independently audited. Our conflict-free sourcing protocol exceeds OECD Due Diligence Guidance requirements.
Water Management
We operate closed-loop water systems at all processing sites, recycling over 85% of water used and monitoring discharge quality in real time.
Land Restoration
Concurrent rehabilitation begins the moment extraction moves on. We have restored over 500 hectares of post-extraction land using native species replanting.
Community Consent
We obtain free, prior, and informed consent from all affected communities before commencing any mining activity — no exceptions.
